College history

Moscow Space Instrument Making Technical School was established by decree of the Government of the Soviet Union on December 30, 1944. The main task of the college was the preparation of specialists in development of devices for control of marine ships. Regular training at the college began on November 9, 1945. By this time, was carried out necessary preparations, selected faculty and staff. The training was conducted in three areas: radar systems, metal processing, fire control devices. The most intensive college was developed after 1966. The main building was reconstructed, increased the area of educational audiences, built laboratory building, a sports hall, a dining room. The main direction was the preparation of specialists in the field of spacecraft control. In 2007 the college has joined the Russian State University of economy and trade.
